If you you are so desperate you should not be working here. I can understand people staying for financial reasons or market being bad or waiting to get severance. If you want out so badly then you should leave. Not good for your health.

You're not preaching to the choir here. Many of us are in great roles and love our jobs, regardless of whatever is going on. There are some really good spots in the company and sounds like you're just not in one of them.

@1mdb+1nLWm9Gj +a whole lot of ops and a sh*t ton of sales, pre sales, marketing, sale enablement, ill defined partner enablement roles, inside sales. Literally half the cuts for CA and Symantec came from sales people that were skating.

Long story short if your cost goes toward SG&A versus R&D, you better have a resume on the street already.

Anyone have insight on how BC is deciding what groups/roles would be cut right after close, and which will be cut after 6 mos. ?

I'm assuming the "right after close" cuts go deeper than HR, Legal and some Ops. and Sales

The Broadcom team has been reviewing all the org chats, in preparation for the deal to close. Starting with the top layers, they're preparing their plan of action. It's no secret.

For sure, the Broadcom team will quickly flatten the VMW pyramid of VPs, Sr DIrectors and all the other dead weight that has failed to justify their existence.

Targets were identified during the headcount assessment that Broadcome just finalized.
