@2omj+1nLTnxy6 Initial layoffs happen at close in the old entity, prior to day one. They won't even hit the BC payroll

If I were to guess:

End Aug - FTC approves

Early Sep - CMA officially approves (right now it's provisional)

Late Sep - Official close

Mid Oct - Layoff (Ops, IT, HR, Legal, Marketing etc. - most gone with 10-20% retained for transition of some functions to external vendor)

To @iov+1nLTnxy6 there will need to be some kind of consultation process so whilst apparently the new organisational blueprint is good to go in terms of communication- probably immediately after all of the approvals have been rubber stamped - any layoffs won’t happen immediately.

When they are ready and feel they have a good case to challenge or are ok to proceed... given the EU and UK just closed theirs out in the last week I would think this shouldn't be too far off now.
