Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

$2 million per month saved

Do not forget that Walt got himself paid $24,000,000 each year ($2m per month) and has a massive quiet private office while you are paid $150k & work in cubicles with cheap laptops & are an "easy cut".

If newspaper were to interview me, an 'easy cut' is available to the board if they are doing an 'inverted pyramid' method.

This 'easy cut' also contradicts himself every 5 minutes and has destroyed all trust.

You think the SF people are in office - they haven't been since 2020. They all relocated to cheaper living places/cities and now that their office may close they can continue to operate remotely. There are a lot of finance/risk modeling/treasury operations in SF that are currently remote

I heard we have 17 floors of $150k+ employees in San Francisco. It's effectively minimum wage there and a reason for the decision to move all HQ roles to texas.

Absolutely, if we're trimming the fat with an 'inverted pyramid', let's start with the $2 million per month elephant in the room.
