Bet on it
@1grp+1nIZRv2d Security is a specialty. We don’t need hyperspecialists for every tiny little product. Sorry you’re going to have to know more than five things.
How is that going to work with no specialist teams in gsso
Why not hire an unqualified culture ki-ler to run gsso!? PAN culture is notoriously toxic. Why not bring in the reason for that culture to gut the failing sec biz. EC is going to absolutely destroy what is left. No specialists? Ha! Why not dismantle Cisco completely!?
So saad, imagine working in these conditions constantly worrying abt layoffs here and next.
Isn’t Csco so called “The Best Place to Work?”
We will never have layoffs again. I wouldn't lie to you.
LMAO, I was rolling on the floor for a good few minutes reading the title of this thread!
If anyone has any doubt just how spiritually bankrupt Cisco is, along with quite a few of the employees, take another gander at that title. "LR just happened a few seconds ago, are there more LRs?!?!"
This is life for many people at Cisco. Rumors about upcoming LRs, LRs, analysis of LRs, rumors of more LRs to come, rumors of more LRs next quarter, and on and on ad nauseam.
On and on for many, many years until one day you snap out of a trance, look around, and think to yourself..."when did everybody get so old?" Then it dawns on you that if everybody around you has gotten old, guess what pal!
You have spent your entire pitiful existence trapped in The Matrix and didn't even realize it until it's too late. Then you keel over and croak from a massive heart attack. All the while the ELT are enjoying caviar, sipping on some of the finest bubbly, and lighting their stogies with benjamins.
The End.
Expect it to continue. Customers aren't happy with the product and brand on many fronts. They are finding better alternatives, especially around the core business of networking. I'd like to see how many subscriptions and licenses are sold if customers don't want our hardware.
Major LR to be announced during Q4 earnings release. Customers have pulled back on their IT infrastructure expenditures. Cisco has no choice but to chop heads to stem the financial bleeding.
Revenues declining faster than forecasted which is why more layoffs happening in Q1
Sales layoffs on Monday
Of course there is! This is Cisco. And there are always LRs around the corner . Especially in August!
