I don't feel safe here because every time I think they are done making cuts, they do another round.
I wonder if their idea of leadership consists of cutting staff to make the numbers look good, or what?

CEO is getting a lot of miles discussing "balance sheet".
Yet with rapidly dropping revenue, the P&L isn't looking so great and maintaining that so-called balance sheet will be near impossible. There is a enough rope...let's hope he can pull a rabbit out before the rope loops and the balance sheet is the last thing he will want to discuss.
It's easy for the BSheet to look good when you wipe out share holders equity and get your debt written off, look at the P&L people that tells the real story provided the numbers are believable
FACTS
(Can't Believe this even needs to be stated)
✓ Majority of employees lined up to ENABLE Alan to give the company away to private equity in an effort to CYA the wrath of the SEC and institutional investors based on his very public statements that promised Avaya wasn't going bankrupt.
✓ These same employees bizarrely believed it stamped them as "positive DPTW Cheerleaders" which would guarantee them a spot on Alan's team.
✓ These foolish employees were the same employees who made regular statements about how 'free' Avaya will be when no longer public.
HELLLLOOOOOOO! Wake up call!
✓ Avaya BoD AND $$ Equity Majority Ownership is PRIVATE EQUITY (#1 Apollo. #2 Brigade).
✓ Private Equity is just a transaction. They don't give a flying F about- People. Culture. Future. They are allergic to pay raises. Training. Development.
✓ Engage was the quick lipstick on a pig to con clients and partners. That is over. September won't be pretty.
This was so obvious 6 mos ago. It's obviously the situation at present. But the gosh darn cult followers just can't help themselves
Alan’s methods equate to losing weight through blood letting. Sooner or later you’ll go too far. Looks like the Kool-aid they served at Engage was pretty strong, we’ll see how many people do come to the “Field of Dreams”, those that do come need to steer clear of the hot dogs!
