Let’s compile a list of wasted money over the years
Pinnacles also known as Presidents club. Many companies use this method to reward the best employees. Most have a scorecard with actual criteria. JK on the other hand uses this as his personal beauty contest where people have no idea how they won and those than do not have no idea why they did not. In the end it is decisive and counterproductive. I have seen many examples of completely incompetent people being rewarded for god knows what.

That’s my take on reading some (not all) of the comments on this site. I seriously shake my head in disbelief a lot here.

Agree on Pinnacle. The same people from his groupy club went. HGST cliques. Jerry handpicked the attendees. There was no criteria to know how to win. The number of NCGs that went was hilarious! They added no value other than cutting costs. So over Jerry K and his BS too!

I buy so much useless stuff at Costco during work as Costco is next to the HQ.
But it is a nice place to meet fellow workers from WD doing the same.
Miney spent in all those surveys. The diversity festivals, LGBT stuff, etc.

Years ago JW rebranded external drives to try to look like Lego. Huge budget went into this and it was a total failure.
What about a 25 million upgrade to power that quickly rose to over 60 and no engineers (I mean project managers) fired? what about the director overseeing these clowns! What a bunch of F@ck ups. They couldn't engineer themselves out of a wet paper bag! Just proves that the more you pretend you know the less you have to worry about being kicked to the curb. Never gave much credence to an indoctrination certificate from an elegit accredited university anyway. These people come out as d-mb as a box of rocks and think respect is given not earned! Want to fix this company? That's the best place to start
Hard to choose: Removing fuel tanks next to WD HQ and remodeling the executive suite leading into mass layoffs. Or the executive overseas offsite during the November layoffs.
Why sacrifice anything, when others can sacrifice for you?
