Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

No one would recommend working here

Most of the people I've talked to would never advise anyone to work here. Maybe you would?? I don't believe so.

If I want to keep my friends as good friends, there's no way I would recommend them to wfm.

I wouldn’t personally recommend Whole Foods to most of everyone as a place of employment, which comes from over 10 years with the company and an extensive career in retail. The company largely feels disconnected and lifeless. I’m stuck in my job for most of the remainder of my college degree program and then I will definitely move on. If I could leave earlier than this I would, believe me, I really would. The mostly flexible scheduling and sort of okay benefits keep me coming back.

if anyone recommends working a low wage job that relies on entry level workers then you are either

  1. a kid out of highschool
  2. have no education
  3. put 0 effort into learning a trade
  4. have a criminal record

thats it. and its not just whole foods. its mcdonalds, albertsons, etc. Costco is your best bet if you want to stay in this garbage industry though
