Did the chief people officer leave?
Like the Chief People Officer?
What?!? Bro.. you were supposed to take the hint they didn't want you there back in 2005 when they replaced 80% of your division with L1 Visas from India.
Then again when they froze your salary.
And snuberd you on promotion.
You were supposed to leave. Management is pi---d off your still around.
Seriously, who works that hard for that little?
Stockholm Syndrome Corp.
Ditto.
Salary up 40k to start, no layoffs, no wage freeze, and no toxic food-old-boy/Rolla/Catholic High School hogwash
I do, sure ... at least for those I liked.
But now I'm off myself (not regretting it at all).
I doubled my salary, halved my hours, and I have experienced none of the oppressive politics and executive infighting that I experienced when I was at Emerson. So much happier post-Emerson. I hear it is much worse now than it was when I left. Feel sorry for any of my friends still working there.
