Seems we are seeing last batch of remaining talents moving in mass to IBM and Wolfspeed.
This is not surprising as GF really does not need talent. New engineers from local state university should do the job well.
What is worrying is that even local state university employees also leaving as they can not withstand dirty politics, incompetent and racist management who just promotes boot lickers and junks.

Is this even new information ??
Why would anyone stay in Malta? There is no roadmap to do any innovation. There is no real plan to build another fab. With the current leadership team driving a non-differentiated portfolio there is very little interesting stuff to work on at GF. Couple that with other companies mentioned are paying more and doing more intellectually stimulating work, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to predict the mass exodus out of Malta. But what we all have to accept is this is what the Senior Leadership Team wants, they want US employees leaving so they can try to do what was historically done on-site at fab locations with low-cost newbies in low-cost geo sites. This whole thing was planned out and driven by TB who pulls the puppet strings of TC. TB is the consultant to the CEO or whatever his title is and he considers every employee a "widget" who can be replaced by low-cost geo site employees and has zero value on experience and keeping industry leading knowledge within the company at fab sites. This strategy is turning out to be the downfall of GF and eventually will sink the company not having industry experts but trying to technically run the company with a revolving door of newbie low-cost geo folks who last 2-3 years max and then leave for another company and more money. This is what happens when you run a company purely based on short term financials.
Mass exodus has been going on for at least 4 years. Still waiting on my management to fill positions from 2018.
