Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

A Call to the EC

It's not fair that thousands are gonna be laid off and you still make more than all of us. You'll try to pretend your bonus or stock options are way down, but that's still millions. Where's the responsibility?!?!? Why don't you do the right thing and say you'll forego payment for a year and put that money towards severance packages. Whaddya say? You up for the challenge?

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/on-small-business/wp/2016/09/16/gene-marks-21-percent-of-ceos-are-psychopaths-only-21-percent/

“Typically psychopaths create a lot of chaos and generally tend to play people off against each other,” Nathan Brooks, a forensic psychologist and the lead researcher of the study said in this report from The Telegraph. “For psychopaths, it [corporate success] is a game and they don’t mind if they violate morals. It is about getting where they want in the company and having dominance over others.”

Brooks blames bad screening practices during the hiring process.

By the way – psychopathic behavior in the general population is about 1 in a 100. What’s a little disturbing in this study is that not only are 21 percent of corporate executives psychopathic, but so is the same percentage of prison inmates.

Also disturbing: this isn’t the first time researchers have noted psychopathic tendencies among senior executives.

Is the severance policy still posted on the web - should be noted there what their policy is.

"Hey nepotistic sociopaths, what if you weren't nepotistic sociopaths?" Wow, I'm sure they'll get right on that OP.

Companies are never required to provide severance. CS will probably stick to their normal 2 months of pay, then 2 weeks for every year. In order to book the severance expense in 2023, layoff notices will be no later than the first week of October.

Why would there be no severance pay? They have to provide severance for this type of layoff.

Up for the Challenge? Hahahahaha they are in their political appointed yes-man cush roles because they don't like hard work. Not one could survive a week dealing with a real job down here in the weeds.

Don't hate the playa, hate the game.
