How's morale in Controllers?

Since we do not have a way for us to communicate freely and without ranking consequences in this company, I'm turning to the this page.

How are my Controllers friends feeling these days? For myself: I let the high profits of 2022 trick me into believing I could stick it out long term, but the reality is I just hate being here. I hate turning on my computer, I hate working for this company. The only thing keeping me here, as sad as it is to admit it, is the pay.
I'm completely demotivated to do anything, I go through the motions and hope to just ride it out doing minimal effort and not be piped. My wife thinks it's depression but it's this company.

Does anyone else feel this way?

I felt so depressed before I left Imperial. Some of the managers were so mean. Made me wonder if they were human. Now much happier, glad that IOL is no longer ruining my health.

It's not all that bad for Imperial Controller's "leadership". They are well paid for jobs which are truly redundant or should not exist in the first place. According to the proxy filing with the Form 10-K, the IOL Controller and Asst. Controller were both in the top 5 earners or named executives. Surely, these Controllers leaders must be adding a lot of value in their corporate roles, much more than front line business managers, "coordinating" dividends and stock buybacks with EM to justify that level of compensation!

If you are a minority, don't work for controller's. They will boast one or two token minority for recruitment purposes, but one will not go anywhere. You have to be straight cis white men to make it here.
