Extremely generous package...including RSU acceleration. I'm not even mad about it. I hated every minute at this place. I actually feel relieved.

So paid thru October plus some severance on top of that?
I was in the earlier group. Funny thing is, I liked what I did. I worked my backside off. Didn't matter.
Attitude, relationships (had very good ones), skill, and hard work. None of it matters.
If anything, many of those that remained in my former team were the underperformers and toxic individuals at that. All paid about the same too. Go figure.
My job was eliminated too. Glad to know I wasn't the only one who hated it here.
Yes--I'm officially employed through end of October. My RSU vesting is accelerated. I get my bonus. And I don't have to work (although I'm "allowed" to). To the person who said "What did I do to get fired," the answer is nothing, thanks. There are at least 7 people I know of whose positions were eliminated. Kind of a rude response, considering that this is something that's pretty traumatic. I was in good standing, my boss disagreed with the decision. They're downsizing and got rid of several people who had similar positions. Thanks to the person who said "best of luck." I wish the same for all of you. Even the rude one.
