At this point anything that hasn’t been paid out to vendors already is up for cutting.
Not at Schwab any more, but used to work there for several years on the it side. I had heard it mentioned in the last year or so that Schwab was looking to on-shore some of the IT and software development work after the TDA merger. They realized the cost savings weren't there and after Covid 19 there was a lot of business risk too.
They are always cutting and rehiring contractors. Old news.
