CIO is obsessed with Hackathons, AI and himself... he has onboarded an army of senior leaders with patents and what have they delivered?? Also, word on the street he has his own PR team for social media, speaking engagements and photo opportunities (similar to T's method of working)
Wireless on main campus is still iffy, everyday some IT critical system goes down, old technology stack...
The CIO doesn’t even report to a hub location. His office is in Arizona. Why doesn’t HR talk to him about coming in 3x a week into a hub location.
In a presentation to the whole company this week the CIO flaunted his custom (and expensive) Nike sneakers that were gifted to him by the CEO. He also posts internal videos showcasing his kids. We get it, your kids are better than ours.
And the CIO just flew all of his directs and their directs to India. Shows where his priorities are.

If you are not part of the new CIO regime, then you do not exist. Forget getting them to collaborate with you and listen to suggestions, they won't even talk to you. Very sad.
