I am so disgusted right now, I feel nothing but contempt for the greedy executives and their minions. I have an LL5 friend who is by the way a top performer... He was let go a few days ago just 10 months shy of 55. I know he was not the only one, there were several people on this board who had the same problem. Ford should be sued and I hope all people who they did this to will get compensated.

I was negatively impacted by the CTC program. My boss was trying to get me promoted and I had other incentives to keep me from looking elsewhere in spite of the fact I was starting to get bored by what I was doing. My performance reviews had been great and I had been with my group for 5 years; 1 year as agency and then 4 years as a regular employee. It really su-ked that it happened especially since I just found out that pay periods are for the same month and not staggered so I will not be receiving a final paycheck on the 15th for my work through the 30th as the direct deposit I got on the 30th was my final pay check. I luckily have accepted an offer somewhere else but it will take me a month from my last day to be working again.
I'm over 55 but NOT eligible for the pension, less then 10 years.
Told I was HTHD last year and got a raise.
Got axed anyway.
I have a female friend, also an LL5 and top performer, 11 months shy of 55, and Ford canned her too. I’m disgusted as well, and expecting I could likely be next, as I’m also over 50 and in pension scheme.
Never but a Ford again.
