I heard that Cisco reimburses full if you do evening MBA at Berkeley or Santa Clara University. Can any one confirm, the current company I work only reimburses $5250.

When I was there if you came into a group where one person was already working on an MBA you got nothing because "we don't need two MBAs in this group."
The people I talked to who went to those elite schools said what was said here: the coursework is useless and it's all about the connections.
Does anyone have a copy of Cisco's tuition reimbursement policy they could share? Thank you!
Without MBAs how would companies spend this kind of money on logos?

An MBA is only valuable for the strategic relationships. You can learn everything from an MBA program quickly on YouTube.
Elite school for the relationships or it's a waste of time.
lots of MBA working as "store managers" at Walmart, McD, DD, etc. Pretty useless.
It is a set amount per year - 10k I believe. So string out classes over 5 or 6 years.
This company is not for someone who has a master's degree. High school diploma is well enough. Don't waste intelligence.
Go find some other company that's worth it.
MBA, as every manager loves to quote "what are you going to do with that thing here?"
Depends on your management chain. The management in my org didn't want people furthering their education. They viewed education as a threat to their power & influence.
I have an MBA from Phoenix and Cisco covered it fully. I got only $10k pay bump after completing it. Still doing the same role I did in CX org before that MBA at Grade 11.
MBA = Master of Bu.llshyt As.sh.ol.es
If I spend $150k for Berkley EMBA, would they cover full?
They have a bro deal with Univerity of Phoniex
Yes, Cisco has tuition reimbursement. It’s a set $ amount per year. I was able to have my Masters and EMBA fully covered.
