Short deadlines

I am exhausted and the stress is huge. Anyone else struggling to meet shorter than ever deadlines?

Yeah, I have so many things coming my way that are SuPeR uRgEnT so I started writing them all down and prioritizing and there were things that were actually urgent then a lot of things that people were breathing down my neck about that could wait a few months. Everyone then had unrealistic expectations for when I could finish this work not realizing that constantly pinging me and escalating it to my manager will just slow me down, cause me to lose my train of thought, and make me even more disinterested in doing the SuPeR uRgEnT task instead of causing me to do it faster.

Tons of top priorities, but oddly enough none of them actually get done because we're constantly switching focus and can't use the bathroom without 5 levels of approval.

Yes and everything is a top priority. Change after change after change. It’s difficult to keep up with all of it but the idea of working from home has helped me keep my sanity. No more.

Yes. Every project I am doing is due Yesterday and even when they say we have a week or two to complete something its due in two days or the pile on on the project is horrible.
