It is understandable why cheaper labor sounds like an excellent option for the leadership. However, where will this take the company? They definitely don't think long term.

Funnily enough - IBM is 112 years old today. Things go around in cycles. All business areas got hit, so I presume this is about Galway. Maybe a fresh perspective on how we dig ourselves out of the hole we got into is needed. It doesn't appear that the old Nortel/Avaya ways were working.
Avaya's future is basically GE and IBM today... dinosaurs lacking innovation, unable to get past their bad reputations. Too late to save either one.
