Thread regarding Commscope Inc. layoffs

This is terrible

I will start this off by saying, I will b one of the ones they will lay off. 💯 I hate it because I truly like it here at CS. I guess I will wait it out come the first of July we shall see what happens. Praying that things get turn around before then. .

No one knows what’s really going on. It’s just rumours. Business is actually starting to pick up slowly. A lot of companies are struggling due to the economy. It’s the easiest job with the best pay in the area. I’m going to ride it out and have faith. Maybe some of you should too. If you get laid off and you were a decent worker they will call you back. If you were a sorry worthless complainer then I say you helped bring it down. My dept is strong and always have been. We aren’t going out of business. Yep we are 9 billion in debt , yep management sux a-s but do you think all the big time investors are going to let it sink. Those who have the money makes the rules.

Have yet to see or hear management meet with employees to tell them what is going on. They need to stop being cowards and be honest. It's not the employees fault we are 9.6 Billion dollars in debt! If they keep up with these gutless, cowardly ways of handling things they will end up losing all their good employees and be left with folks whol half a-s their job and call out all the time.

Honestly the way they cut our hours is pretty dirty. If commscope doesn't have employees on the manufacturing floor they have nothing. They can suck the back side of my di-k!

CS might have came out with July schedule but people will be laid off in July I do believe something is brewing up. Voluntary OT we would be told No but certain people could.

Personally, I would embrace a voluntary package, take some required mental health vacations. Regroup and find a new job.

For HR: how about you offer voluntary package, let the ones that want to go. keep the employees that actually want to stay and may be believe on Commscope.

People in HR, imagine what a concept!!!

Instead of blowing up moral for months...and have employees disgruntled.

Imagine not trashing people's life's when they get let go for no wrong doing of their own ....and have families to support!!!

Because at the end of the day, is slt that is failing.... Not the many good folks that work here to make sure their kids have food on the table.

What a concept :)

Don't be heartless just to put a coin into the slt pockets. Because, my friend, you will be next :)

They've already come out with the schedule for July, so I don't think anything will happen just yet. We're also working voluntary overtime.
