when will the cuts start impacting GCA and Japan?

Protracted layoffs in Japan. Probably still playing catch up on all the previously announced layoffs due to local labor laws and red tape.
GCA seems to be next. Will probably see GCA team impacts in the coming 1-2 weeks if they received pre-approval from the local labor bureau. It takes several months to get the AOK from when they submitted the application back in April. If not will probably not see any major impacts till August/September.
Nah. Already started silent layoffs in Japan end of last year. It will be continue to this year.
Japanese labour laws are quite stringent. Likely to happen much later in the year.
