Thread regarding 3M layoffs

I don't want to think it's too late

Regardless of everything, I had a great time working here and I really wish the company would stop sinking. Some say that it is too late for that. Maybe not after all?

Sounds like a great phrase for a song in eurovision…

No it is not too late, but the odds of it turning around are against 3M. Bigger question , Is management willing to do what it takes, and do we have the right people in management ?

Under current managment, heck to the no. I think the only thing that could save it at this point is if McKnight and friends rose from the dead and took it back over. This is not the company they worked hard to build up. Three generations in my family - it is not the company I grew up admiring and dreaming of work at.

I hope so too as enjoyed my time up until the last few years. But safely took a life raft to a new, better ship. Suggest anyone that is worried and not yet thrown overboard does the same asap. Preferably get them to throw you overboard with a life jacket full of cash too.
