Take a gander at us jobs posted on our external website.... Looks like salary Bands are posted for essentially all of them

Bands run 80-120% of market value (MV). The low end of the salary range is considered 80% and top end is 120%. Typically new hires are brought in around the 85-90% of MV. Those with 110% of MV are generally looking at promotions and thus move to a new band. Those under 80% typically receive a special adjustment to bring above 80%. HR also does equity audits.
Better not knowing your pay band percentage. You’ll be looking for another job afterwards.
Ask your manager, they have access through workday to tell you exactly where you fall compared to the median of your role.
If you don’t feel comfortable talking with your manager and would rather get worked up looking at inaccurate 3rd party websites…have fun.
I noticed this recently too! I also noticed that GlassDoor got updated recently, and it looks like the average base salaries for all jobs appears to be lower than it was previously on GlassDoor.
It won’t be normally distributed. Right skew.
Really 80%? You would think it is a normal distribution centered on the mean of the band.
I was told they hire at around 80% of the salary band in early 2022.
Nobody said they hire at the top. It is informational only.
And?… Doesn’t mean they hire at the top end of the band.
