One of the long lasting issues with management. You get CS that gets promoted to a manager role BUT that person has never actually worked the actual job or a claim in that segment. Why would you put a CS into a manager role in a different department for a job they have never done and know very little about?
So GTF outta here Sc-mbag manager. I was handling claims when you were in high school
before you started State Farm.

I mean im not even sure a single TM exists here with a management degree. Even when the company buys a management degree for their employees, they just want those people handling claims ect. TMs are only hired based on looks/personality and skill managing others isnt a concern. Ive had managers with music degrees, geology degrees, ect, and all of them have shown a lack of background in their role. Been an issue for a very long time.
Elon Musk-same guy that requires his employees to work 18 hours a day and sleep at the office to demonstrate their loyalty and commitment. SF is babying workers by comparison.
Working a claim is not in their job description.
Quiet quiting to the letter.
"I strongly believe that all managers in a technical area must be technically excellent.
Managers in software must write great software or it’s like being a cavalry captain who can’t ride a horse!"
~Elon Musk
@1gnt has not worked at SF in over 11 years. Got canned for inappropriate conduct.
Pay the managers more.
Management are dangerous kool aid drinkers. Trust them with nothing. They want to tell you its raining while......down your leg. All are politicians!
Well Sparky, management is not about the technical details of the job. Never has been.
Common misconception among new employees and those who’ve been passed over, though.
Sure they are related or besties or ISU grad
Crazy leaders
foad and be quick about it.
Managers handle people that should know how to handle claims aka do their jobs. Fugg off.
Boomer doesn’t realize this happens across all companies and all industries. A sheltered life in a small town…..
@dpl. Good luck to you.
I'll make sure I cold transfer the call to you since you know what you are doing and you aren't even licensed to handle it.
Get over it boomer. Us youthful managers are taking over.
