How to tell if there is a pending layoff in Lenovo:
- Was there or are there any reorgs coming?
- Does a day of the week end in Y?
- Are there any employees walking around without a perma-stained brown nose?
- Is there a non-China employee in the company?
- Is there a white employee in the company?
Yes to any or multiple of these means a layoff is coming.

Lenovo really is such an appalling company to work for. I have never seen such disrespect for employees anywhere. The senior “leadership” is just so unbelievably stupid. People at Lenovo are openly vocal about their desperation to “get out” of the company and talk of efforts to do this. Lenovo has announced a pre-tax profit decline of 75 percent for Q4 2023 fiscal year. This company does not have a bright (or any) future.

I feel like there could be very soon another round. PC market outlook is not good, costs continue to be cut, lots of reorgs going on. Seems like a perfect storm brewing. I havent formally heard anything, just a feeling. Ive cleaned off my desktop and accounts just in case.
