Are they going to split IT right down the middle ? Anyone have any hints ? No one on our team has any idea and as usual our manager is a clueless "yes man" Who'll do whatever it takes to save his job. We'll be the last to know.

AI will replace many of them as well as jobs going to India and Serbia.
IT has too many employees and needs a reorg and better technology. NCR has a lot of work to do reach their potential.
They will split it any way they want in the best interest of the shareholders. That includes a continuation to cut labor costs for expensive employees, slash staff count with RIFs, end of life products, send more jobs overseas and sell until it’s all done. That is the mission.
On the all hands they want to be transparent, yet on the all hands they never talk openly about any of the topics that concern employees the most such as tenure, raises, security or just general overall employee well being. If you believe otherwise then you haven’t been here long enough.
I get a chuckle when I remember previous on-hands calls dismissing all rumors of a potential sale last year. Then they admitted after the split - yes sale attempts were made.
I agree, CE’s are leaving the field, not much of any hiring is happening. It will be a cruel summer for the CE’s left to pick up the slack and added on call shifting.
The likelihood of anything of value said in the next all hands is none and less than none. No business all hands have had anything of substance in them. The tap dance will continue. They have perfected the art of saying many words with nothing offered.
Up top they know what’s gonna take place! I’ve said if it was good news for employees like they said we would know something! It’s almost like they want the unknown to get employees to quit and it’s working!!! Ppl are leaveing the CE field like crazy! But secrets are never a good thing with these deals! I think IT will stay with retail and financial is sold or in process.
No hints of what’s to come. It’s tight lipped. Next all hands call is this week, might find out something at that time.
