Thread regarding Siemens layoffs

Siemens Healthineers beginning major layoffs in the US

Siemens Healthineers in Flanders, NJ is laying off approximately 60 full time employees, many have been with the company for 5, 10, even 15+ years. Most of these come from the Atellica IM subassembly, assembly, and configuration/test areas. As of writing, none of these employees have been offered positions elsewhere in the company. This entire production line is being shut down, with the Swords, Ireland location taking all of the IM production. With a new production line starting in China for the CH 930, there will soon be no Atellica production in the US.

Tarrytown was basically sla-ghtered. All the seasoned business experts with all the expertise, knowledge and lab background were let go. Left with unqualified people from non diagnostic backgrounds with no technical, lab or product marketing experience expected to serve customers, work with R&D and make strategic decisions . The entire business is basically a "foreign language" to them. Good luck.
