I used to fear losing my job here, but the uncertainty and stress is only costing me my health and happiness. I'm probably not the only one who would accept a slightly worse paying job now just to not be here anymore?

You can accept a slightly - or even moderately - lower paying job now or a much lower paying job later when you have no choice. No brainer!
If it starts to affect your health and happiness, it is not worth staying on. Job hunt, look for anything you can get, while you are still being paid by the company. Then when you find a new opportunity/job, go for it and don't look back! You don't owe the company anything as they don't even think of you in both the good and bad times.
Leave 3m, it's worth it.
You are far from alone. You just need to commit to making a change and get started on your plan for the next phase of your life. I can assure you from personal experience that there is life outside of 3M.
