Tesla designing, investing and installing a network of charging stations around the country took real leadership. GM has not done this but mary wants to be congratulated for wanting to ape on it. It's actually vile and spineless. The culture at GM rewards stealing other people's ideas so, not surprising.
Tesla opening their charge port designs also took leadership.
The Tesla design itself has a slimmer packaging profile and is a better design.
Anyone at GM working on product development will tell you privately that the EV effort is a huge disaster. Being reminded at how Tesla's implementation, leadership, design, etc. is more than demoralizing at this point. And to think, many went from "Tesla is a joke" to Elon Musk worship from 0-60 in 15.3 seconds, just like a Corvette C8. It's in our DNA.

Just because GM went bankrupt doesn't mean the government had to bail them out.
Companies go bankrupt and go out of business all the time.
Bailing them out was a political choice.

Context: GM received a bailout because they went BANKRUPT due to unsustainable debt and a lack of sales. Blaming that on a political party is a special kind of ______.

Interesting that Mary is getting kudos for aping off of someone else's extensive innovation and investment. That's very weaksauce IMO. Are we going to release an Equinox Mach-E next?
