Really? Just call up the IRS? The wait time for a government agency isn’t going to be much better then bbb right now, given the debt ceiling issue going on. I think the irs had bigger worries right now. Get a grip.
Since taxes have been withheld but you haven’t received the money earned it is tax fraud. File a complaint with the IRS that you have had taxes withheld by your employer, but you were never paid that income. You’ll get a call from BBB

Final pay due today from extended wave 4 . Final day was April 28. One of four that worked until the end need to be paid for 40 hours
It's obvious that BBBY will try to sc--w over nearly anyone who works for it. Question is, in 24 years how many times have you had to deal with them screwing over employees who work for you and did you empathize with how they were treated. I would hope you did not discount their stories as they were "replaceable".
Like the other post said the direct deposit should have went through as normal. Live checks should have been mailed. Hope it’s on the way or gets resolved soon.
It is entirely possible that a horde of spootie-wonkles busted into payroll and made off with all the funds. Never underestimate the determination and deviousness of the spootie-wonkles!

I was wave 4 and even though it was my final pay it went through direct deposit as normal and received a pay stub in the mail. Definitely keep pressing the issue bc something went wrong.
