Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

Our CEO and executives continue to receive record earnings and stock options

Meanwhile "held to maturity" has destroyed this firm. I guess those rising interest rates didn't pay off like they were claiming?

How could the leadership of this firm not be held accountable? Go watch Warren Buffetts latest Berkshire annual meeting and you'll understand.

Why should the CEO and his direct reports not be held accountable while their employees pay the price?

Not sure what you are talking about. Executive compensation is often largely share based. If the shares granted are worth 35% less, they just lost 35%.

Schwab took a dive when walt took over in 2008. It became a different company. One built on stock options and profit instead of investment values and it's employees. Walt's net worth went from $8 million to $100 million during his tenure while his employees lost track of the company's vision and the culture went to cr-p.

Everything else is simply a town hall
