Ford is already not nearly the company that it used to be. I don't know what other than devastating could be the result of giving more importance to mediocrity than recognizing talented and steady employees.
In a few years, I'm afraid that it won't even be possible to fix the mistakes they're making now. I'm very disappointed with where things are going.

Completely laughable that people think that you’re female you get automatically promoted. Only if you’re part of family and friends and don’t throw away your integrity. Until then, just waiting for the separations to begin so I can leave with some cash and my retirement intact.
Observation: Those who lean right seem quicker to awaken to the fact that this is not about right versus left. This is about globalist tyranny and the administrative state versus we the people.

I got hired to Ford last September. And I'm already promoted to a LL6.
Things is great here. Finally a company that UNDERSTAND what it's like for all their employees. They made it more fair to all us groups.
There was a time in this here country when certain groups did the brunt if the work while another groups got all the credit and spoils. Now we are back to that way of life - it's just that you people find y'all on the wrong end of the whip. You ain't had no problems with it before so why start now?
I hope things stay the way they is. It's looking great for so many people nowadays.

When I was at Ford, their Diversity and EEO team was made up of one black man, w black women, two women from Latin America, and three white women.
I'm not saying I was surprised that there weren't any white men. But i was a little surprised that it was exclusively women (except for the one black guy). I figured there would be more men of color than white women.
And in the literature showing their diversity initiatives, every picture was made up of diverse people. Not one single white man. Well, not quite true - there was one and he looked about 70 and was in a wheel chair (a two-fer).
They would have partnered with Dylan but GM probably owns the rights to the Trans Am name. Mabe a special small pickup named Havadick
I’ll never forget the day that I knew that Ford was in for a rough ride. It was during the early 2000s and the company was just starting to buy heavily into the woke ideology. I mean heavily. Like rolling it out to all employees. We were all required to attend sensitivity seminars to discuss the need for diversity at all levels of the company, especially in management. After hearing all day about the need to promote non-white, non-male employees, I raised my hand. The young man running the seminar called on me. I said, “It sounds to me like what you are saying is that as a white male, I pretty much can’t be promoted.” I’ll never forget his response - “I wouldn’t blame you for being upset about that except for the fact that there’s a greater good involved here.”
Racism and s-xism against anyone is wrong. Period.
I interviewed for management positions for a while in my career. I never received a promotion to LL6, and I eventually gave up. Without exception, every candidate who beat me out of the promotion was female. One of them was exceptionally qualified and I told the LL5 that he had made a great choice. At least one was completely lacking in qualifications and was clearly a diversity promotion. The others? Not sure, but I can guess….
What is wrong with you people??
If two men love each other and want to get married and adopt children - what's wrong with that? Same for two women.
If an adult wants to transition from one gender to another and have gender reassignment surgery, what's wrong with that?
If a woman chooses to have an ab0rti0n provided by a medical professional, what's wrong with that?
If minorities and LGBTQ people want appropriate representation in the workforce and leadership roles, what's wrong with that?
None of these things impact you. So why do you insist on derailing things that benefit others?
These Integrity trainings are very important. As a cis-gendered, straight, average build, white man I never realized just how easy I have it compared to most other underrepresented groups - including white women. I also never realized just how easily, as straight white men, our unconscious bias impacts those same underrepresented groups. These training sessions are very enlightening.
