It could be as early as the 16th, but I imagine most folks will have till the end of the month for any transition, and maybe some PTO.

So you find out if you are laid off at 9am on Monday the 15th and then if you are then your last day is Tuesday the 16th??!

What work is expected to be done in those 2 days?

Each location will get it at 9 AM (local time); my manager told me last week that if impacted, my last day will be 16 MAY. But I assume different rules apply per country or region. Unfortunately, we need to wait and see. But again, if you are in DFW, you will get notice (hope not) at 9 AM CST; if in LHR, then 9 AM local London time so on and forth. Try to stay positive. This week will be rough.
