In a different post a few weeks ago, someone called out MR’s earned compensation history during his tenure. He’s averaged less than 50% of his target compensation. Since compensation is based on job performance, how does the B of D justify keeping him as CEO these past 5 years? I know this is a rhetorical question since the Board is complicit regarding this disastrous reign of failure.

Another biz journal article indicates the job cuts at 3M headquarters are going to be nearly double the initial 600 projection…new headcount to be cut is up to 1100! Anyone know the current headcount there? What percentage of employees does this number represent? No wonder there is increased security!!!

Total executive compensation provided by 3M over the last 5 years is easily hundreds of millions of $$.

What is the ROI on that investment. Perhaps 3M Finance can write that off and claim those losses as tax credit.
