Why does Chevron have such a huge office in Midland compared to XTO? Ask any woman and hear that SIZE DOES MATTER. Next question…
No one at XTO works from home lol. That actually made me laugh.
Also, offices and cubes are filled up with 2 people usually. It sucks.
There was an article in the news yesterday about drinking and dr-gs rising quite a bit during WFH. Gads.
I think they just work harder at XTO so need fewer people. My neighbor in Greentree is consistently gone before me in the morning and home after me at night. I’ve never seen him work from home.
XTO are actually in the field working, not sat in the office working on presentations justifying their existence.
We have lots of PowerPoint engineers who need office space.....
Simple. XTO all WFH
Hey, you could still be in ClayDesta.
Those windows are earthquake proof!
Because XTO did not spend $800-$900/sf to build an office building in Midland with windows imported from Germany. CVX should have meetings about how to not waste money they have become really good at it. If the money comes easy it goes easy.
D&I, Ergo training, CBT training, townhalls, endless meetings, competency model assessments, talent card updates, non-stop executive visits, non-stop executive requests for ENDLESS information (feel sorry for VP MCBU), ETC. ETC. This probably captures 10% of the B.S. Chime in with the rest of the B.S. that requires soooo much staff with soooooo little true value added effort
XTO is down to business. Chevron distracts itself with social engineering.
XTO mostly work from home or in the oil field doing actual work not sitting in an office having meetings about safety and diversity and making slides for management.
Because XTO sucks.
