Anyone hear rumblings of reducing divisions back on? We are really emphasizing the employee profiles for people development be updated more than anything the past few years and feels like there is a bit more hidden purpose than to make sure we are happy a d engaged.

When are the changes expected to happen? Too early for March 2024 but shaking things up in September 2023 does t seem too wise.

Was told many years ago to always, always say you are willing to relocate on your profile, even if you can't or won't, regardless of your position with the company. It's a quick way to cull the herd when it comes to reducing and restructuring the divisions like right now. Plus it keeps the staff rotating and no one gets complacent or stagnant. Just saying.

Pretty sure they are wanting remote workers back in the office, an office reorg chart was sent out recently. Probably changes coming due to this, not everyone that joined the company remotely will be able to drive into an office 3 to 5 days a week. You cant expect workers who joined the company as a remote worker that live a considerable distance away to come into an office, especially when they were not told this would be a requirement in the near future. Thinking relocation offers will start to roll out soon and people will quit due to the a potential new policy of requiring bodies in an office. In person is not better just saying, not working overtime if the company expects someone to come into work with a long commute. it will be back to full hour lunch's and two breaks required by law along with leaving on time

Today all of the meetings have been cancelled ---- its odd that the company is having us update our personal dashboards after we just completed them end of year and also adding the where you see yourself/what are you adding to the company document

I have not heard anything about restructure, but there have been a lot of calls lately on updating your career preferences, how to advance your career and the biggest thing they talk about is make yourself able to relocate. In my entire time my position (payroll admin) not once has anyone ever encouraged me to advance my career or even cared about me advancing my career.
