Alteryx 11% Layoff Severance Package Thread

Please post details of your severance package in a reply to this thread. Please feel free to anonymize any specifics, but the following information (in bulleted form) would be appreciated so that we can build a resource on the severance package being offered by Alteryx for the 11% Spring 2023 Layoff:

  • Length of service at Alteryx (months or years)
  • Amount of days/weeks/months severance provided
  • Status of non-vested RSUs - being vested or taken away?
  • Length of post-separation medical insurance coverage (weeks or months)?
  • Was accrued vacation / PTO paid out (yes/no)?
  • Any other items to note and/or make others aware of - specifically any promises made by Alteryx or other statements provided relating to post-severance benefits and compensation?

I received mine recently. I think they have 30 days from the effective date of the separation paperwork.

If your severance doesn’t meet the legal minimums, you have a strong legal case to pursue Alteryx for damages and non-compliance with the law. Hopefully you didn’t sign the severance that indemnifies the company legally from you suing them for not following the law, and you retained an attorney.

Associate levels & P1 - 2 weeks/year of service
P2-P4 & M1, M2 - 3 weeks/year of service
P6-P7, M3-M6, VP - 4 weeks/year of service
SVP - 6 weeks/year of service

Based on my package, COBRA premiums are covered for my severance period which is a nice bonus. All unvested RSUs are lost. But the stock is hammered, so less of a loss every day.

I can't get into ADP to determine if I was paid out correctly and so I'm hung up on signing the severance package since it basically says "we're done" once you sign.

I am not sure the non-disparagement clause is legal either.
