With Q1 numbers out and not meeting expectations, NOV needs to cut cost, there will be management and overhead position changes happening soon! If you don't actually bring in money for the group your job is at risk! First there will be dr-g test, followed by audits, and then it will be luck of the draw who survives!

Sad but true. You are right . It’s been three years since I worked for NOV. And I’m a long long years ex employee. Varco Orange guy. Decades there. When I left management was the d-mbest, most incompetent I’ve ever seen in all those years. But they protect their position and get away with it. Stockholders, I’m speaking to you, I’m one of them, I still have stock in this mismanaged company that used to be great and now is the worst. Just get your stock price up a little bit so I can sell it and put this nightmare of my last two years at NOV to bed. I just check in this site once in awhile to see if there has been improvement. Sadly, seems it hasn’t. Let me guess, big meeting with a whole bunch of incompetent people that come up with bad decisions. Big salaries are in those meetings making d-mb decisions. I remember the days when it just took one guy to make decisions on a daily basis, and the company excelled. Instead of having huge meetings of incompetence. All these people are on the big salaries and come up with a stupid a-s decision. So brainless and live off the individuals that make good decisions. Now they don’t even know how to live off the productive individuals!
Side note, since I come from Varco orange I’m curious, who is the guy on the Segway you keep talking about on the site?

People who don’t add value will be fine.
