Any insights about when these cuts will take effect?

Feel like it’s unrealistic to base lay offs on in vs out of office attendance because they haven’t sent any internal messages strictly enforcing it/ let alone managers doing it. But if they are then that’s kind of unfair to atleast give some the chance to fix it.
Some mangers are using in office vs out of office attendance. This company is falling behind instead of embracing change.

Who is coming up with 'the list'? MDs?
on what criteria are they deciding who is going to be affected? comp/performance?
Tech will be impacted. This is sure, consider the over-hiring in the last 3 years
Is Tech going to be impacted this round?
Using the make believe “wokeness” argument to feel better about your own mediocrity. I see you.
Stop using “wokeness” as the optics for this round of layoffs. Even though this is anonymous the previous replies are speaking volumes….You just don’t know these days what execs are using for the criteria to layoff employees…..
Early days in June is suspect for final judgement!
Along with older Caucasian males, Caucasian females will also be on the chopping block.
Hopefully one day they’ll that realize woke doesn’t pay the bills.
The clueless are creating their lists right now. All about the Benjamin’s. High cost = Unemployment. EDs/MDs will protect their good ole boy networks and worker bees will be sacrificed. Older Caucasian males will take the brunt of the hit as they are least diverse, and MS must promote their liberal social experiments. Gone are the days of judging by merit. Today we reward based on s-x and race.
Will the HR department be affected?
Will internal audit be impacted?
