Unbelievable how all the BS In radio. People pretend that they are passionate. All bunch of clowns.
Raghu was there today. Just shut it down already.
Sick of all the moral drainage all over VMWare, managers are toxic.

Now that it is over, why didn’t our stock price go up after so much publicity for all the great innovations on display?
Don't be this upset that your submission was rejected.
So funny, don’t worry. Speaking as someone who went twice, I can see a shït show when I see it.
seems like it is motivating for you. Think about it again in 5 years.
There is no "theme" at RADIO. At least for the research program. Any paper can be submitted on any topic.
I was accepted to RADIO, and was very excited by it. And most people in this thread are just whinging. The same few people who are responding to themselves and upvote/downvote scamming the site.
There is a major gap in our products and workflow, we identified it, and put it out there. It was accepted to be presented at RADIO. If anything comes of it, who knows. But they at least recognized it was important and put us on stage to explain.
I overall still like my job, and want to improve what we can do. And I have the work ethic to not just give up and whinge on anonymous forums. RADIO still helps with this. Don't be this upset that your submission was rejected.
If you don't like the content at RADIO, submit something better.
I'm sure you wouldn't even know where to begin.
Partially a good suggestion, but because RADIO has themes, and that theme is chosen by an unaccountable committee, there is very little actual innovation happening. This year's theme appeared to be AI, but that's just following the parade that's been ongoing for several years -- not innovative.
The kubernetes of a few years ago? Long after the party had started.
Has there been anything innovative?
No one who comments here has probably ever gotten a single paper or poster accepted to RADIO. Heck, probably none of you have a single patent at VMware.
Just a bunch of losers whining about DEI policies.

The VMware CTO has literally worked only at VMware. Not even kidding. Look at his LI profile.
Glad we have such a great board of directors that enables such nonsense!
I bet that spherelet revenue is topping the charts!
VMware is shït with regards to Kubernetes, when will anyone in the company recognize that and just stop the farce.
"Spherelet which is the core of esxi now"
From the blog:
The Spherelet is an ESXi UserWorld agent that acts as an extension to the Kubernetes Control Plane. Its primary function is to poll the Kubernetes Control Plane’s API server for changes made to pod configuration, volumes, services, configmaps and secrets and then carry out the necessary operations to ensure that these are instantiated.
So yeah that's great and all, but THAT is the best thing to come from 10 years of RADIO?
State the highest revenue generated by any product that came out of radio. In the last 10 years.
Spherelet which is the core of esxi now
Same for the most patents filed.
State the highest revenue generated by any product that came out of radio. In the last 10 years.
Go woke go broke
Our GM stresses a lot on Radio because he was the VP of the CTO office then, with some toxic politics, he is now GM and VP of engineering of a main product under development.
The organizational is full of BS. Managers are toxic. IC not listening to anyone.
And the long timers of CTO who has talks and posters in this low-quality conference are the role models.
Yikes!
The VMware CTO has literally worked only at VMware. Not even kidding. Look at his LI profile.
What. A. Joke.
OCTO is a joke.
Radio is just full of long timers who are scared to actually get off their arses and get a job somewhere else, you know the people who started back in 2005-2008. Thinking VMware is still the panacea. It was 10 years ago. No longer. Just milking the renewal train now.
It is a shitshow for the low-life CTO office hires across BUs.
Just focus on the main thing - finding a new job 🤪
Radio was always a bit of academic wannabe-ism, as if that is a good thing.
True and true. Managers are toxic. Radio is a shitshow
