@2jja+1mqQ6yN5 what year Hyundai Sonata did you buy? There is a rash of stolen Hyundais and Kias across the country including Detroit metro because of the security issue and a viral video that was on TikTok about how to steal them.

If you want to be green then federal government should outlaw all vehicles, gasoline, all crude oil derived products, and…..plastics!!!!! Promote walking to work this way we can save the planet and the animals that eat plastic in the ocean…..yeah!!!!! EVs will save the earth. Thats the story!!!! ..not… anyways it won’t matter in less than 100 years!!!!!!

@2tww We went through the process. We wanted a mid-sized sedan.
We test drove them all and ended up with Hyundai Sonata. Each entry has pros and cons. Some the seats weren’t comfortable, some lacked pep, some were difficult to get in and out of the back seats. We have been pleasantly surprised with the quality.

Neither Ford or Lincoln has a sedan offering. We had a Lincoln MKX (Corsair predecessor)
It was lovely to look at and sit in, but it had a series of major issues within six months of purchase. Fortunately all covered by warrantee, but not a good experience for the premium $. A coworker encountered the same.

If you want a sedan, buy a sedan. You won’t be happy if you compromise on your needs and end up dealing with quality issues and a depreciating asset.

I'm retired and want to purchase a Ford or Lincoln for my next vehicle. My wife and I really wanted a sedan but a Corsair, Escape or Edge look like my only alternatives based on price and size. I actually looked at other companies beside Ford and I guess I'm getting a little sticker shock and not too impressed with what's out there. We don't want some BEV science project in our garage based on past issues with electronics in our ICE vehicles. We were also considering a Maverick but availability and getting dealer to work with us hasn't been that great. We want a vehicle in the mid to upper $30's and we're totally dreading the process once our lease is up. Any adult input would be appreciated.

Never. I would rather buy a Toyota or Honda.

When Ford discontinued stick-shift transmissions, I knew I would never buy another Ford. Had a Ranger ('94) for the longest time and recently upgraded. Wanted another Ranger, but stick-shift was no-can-do. So ... I went with a Toyota.

2009 F-150 = Awesome ICE ! F-150s begin to suck after '09, so I'll keep this baby as long as I can !

Last year, I got a Mazda CX-5: high quality interior, nice handling, great throttle response and it is NOT a Ford.

Don't get me wrong, the first place I looked was Ford, but with the delays in delivery, high prices, and so many recalls, I opted for Mazda. I am happy with my purchase.

We buy used Fords. Nice vehicles. A penny won't ever go to Ford though.

Just received the P708 I ordered… excellent, excellent vehicle.
P758 coming in a month.
Might be the last… based on what’s coming down the pike, these’ll have to last awhile.

I’ll buy a Ford the day after I buy a Bud Light.

Just won’t happen ever.
