Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Operation Dry-heave: “At Xerox, sustainability is our way of (not) doing business.”

Excellent Marketing SPIN xerox!
“ Our aim is to achieve carbon neutrality no later than 2040”

  • Totally plausible as there is no way Xerox will be around that long… but 2040 sounds better than 2025?

“ Between our first baseline year of 2002 and 2016, we eliminated 320,000 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e).”

  • I believe this is solely attributable to a decrease in sales, manufacture of devices, and sales reps making physical calls. Anyone care to do the math?

It is an unprecedented amount of t(u)rd polish! Curious that real “Tech Powerhouses” don’t rave this much about their supposed Environmental, Societal, Ethical, Sustainabical, practices? So much BS-washing customer is almost forced to question it! It’s actually detrimental!

Spewing manure and reducing the number of carbon based beings will make it much sooner than later

Not 1 extra product was sold declaring this.
They could have said 2023 because when you farm out as much as you can, technically YOU reduced your carbon “footprint “
