Because they continue to scale up and test in preparation for them layoffs and the traffic/transactions that they will generate.

I wish we would use something other than Alight. I remember the days of Fidelity, then we got a message that we needed to move to something else with less fees!
Probably because it is maintained by a third party provider like Alight. I'm not sure what HR assets the company controls anymore.
You better hope that you get let go. That's the only way you'll be able to withdraw all those funds and use them to buy a house in this housing market.
