How to tell manager to let me coast until layoffs happen and then layoff me. I have something already lined up and waiting for vmw severance.
Any tips from experts ?

They are already laying people off as we speak. It will continue. Quiet quit like everyone else who is getting taken advantage of. These companies DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU and so you don't need to care about them.
I simple asked mine if they knew anything about the potential redundancy offers, like if they would be an voluntary offers, etc. I said I would be open to a potential voluntary one.
He didn't seem to mind.

Wish more people like you simply had the ba--s to quit. The gutter trash just hanging around, coasting through the day making my job more difficult.
I'm thankful to be here still even if it sucks. Both the economy and job market are a hot mess right now...
You might have to wait awhile if assuming this thing gets blocked (it most likely is), there will be appeals that will drag it. They still could lay people off though in between. Who knows. If you’re simply coasting and doing nothing you’re probably on the list already anyway.
