ADI may be in slight downturn but PSS is a boat anchor especially the software bozo team
PSS is a gigantic Piece of Sh-t that can’t stop blaming everyone for their sh-t producing
PSS is the one in trouble … ADI has the usual seasonal downturn that is all.
PSS should stop constantly trying to sc--w ADI and do something worthwhile for a change like maybe a truly new product and not some pie in the sky BS
It’s interesting to see the way of how PSS is whitewashing their incompetence.
They don’t accept total responsibility for the actions instead say : both sides are guilty (if everyone is guilty there is no right or wrong)
That is a tactic that PSS software has spearheaded against Bangalore and it now permeates the whole organization… the politicians are so active and so well regarded in PSS that it is near impossible for PSS to recover
They are some people honeywell wanted to get rid off during the spin. So they sent them to us. Unfortunately we promoted them. Those are the famous clown that are driving the resideo bus.
All the ones worth anything left before the spin or right after. All the politicians stayed…
The software of P&S should stop trying to spread rumors about ADI.

this is not indian against P&S, there is a global war since day 0 between each site, you can list : Strassburg vs Nice, Minneapolis vs Austin vs Melville, Brno vs Bangalore vs Mexico vs Shangai, Rolle vs HQ, Minneapolis vs Mexico, Bangalore vs Austin, ... The main activity of each site is to fight for survival by attacking/blaming the other ones.
This Indian group is really against P&S. I wonder who and what was done to them to turn them against us.

Exact acquisition costs are not publicly disclosed, but you can get an idea from the cash flow statements. Make sure to subtract out the First Alert acquisition in Q1 2022. At least tens of millions.
Those P&S people are sneaky… what I see in the posts is exactly the behavior we in ADI are exposed to every day. Manipulations , distorsions of facts, fake news…. The worst is the obsolete technology constantly reworked…
It’s like a scam that is being run within the company. I am now believing those stories of dr-gs and weird habits … that explains the behavior.
Don’t see any details with dates and amounts specific to ADI / Honeywell and ADI / resideo
Stuff that are new enterprise systems because resideo could not use the enterprise systems from Honeywell due to licensing costs don’t count… as those costs were for due to the spin….

Screaming "gaslighting" every time you are presented with examples that refute your opinions is a bit of an overreaction. Maybe a better response would have been detailing all that generous support that Honeywell supposedly provided ADI.
Honeywell invested a lot in ADI…. Resideo is using it as a cash cow…
Say what you want about the strategies of ADI and P&S- a LOT to criticize on both sides. But at least get the facts straight. First of all, ADI is not a cash cow. Resideo has invested heavily in ADI to grow ADI. Secondly, the people who keep insisting that P&S and/or ADI are not profitable can't read. P&S is profitable. ADI is profitable. Will this trend continue? This you can debate.
Let me guess ADI can only be saved by P&S

ADI is the only division that makes any money for the sinking ship Resideo. Why so jealous?
Those layoff are cyclical … that said the elastic rope can only go so far… eventually it will break.
I am so tired of the contant undermining by P&S… want to quit. Then I remember that’s the whole purpose of their games. So time to smartly take a page from their book of “how to sc--w other while looking like you aren’t” and give them a taste of their own medecine.
Those P&S like to the game but much less when the games goes back to them especially with that horrible software group
I like the “nothing valuable is coming from P&S” … on paper thou aren’t they amazing… all this money for fake services fake ppt and stuff that is too little too late… the worst is those “leaders” are still milking the corp and now sinking ADI
ADI business model cannot compete in a price war model, and nothing valuable is coming from P&S, so the whole corporate is at risk... The ship is sinking and if nothing change, this will be long and painful for all employees who are too young to retire.
Alarm has always been better and we did give away our IP for a song years ago. So why cry now. We are just watching the beginning of the end…. The era of fake software and fake leaders.

The cash cow will die unless the business model changes very quickly.
In a world of ecommerce it doesn't make sense to have hundreds of bricks & mortar stores globally. ADI needs very high margins to cover the cost of all those rooftops.
Competitors can make good profits trading online at single digit margins if they operate online only.
And as the technology moves more and more towards plug and play, the added value from ADI's tech support becomes less and less.
I am surprised the cow has lived so long!!
