Well my TD just announced their retirement - I assume this is part of the lay-offs. Our division is getting absorbed into another one under the CRD umbrella. I will still have the same amount of layers between me and John B but 1 less layer between me and my new TD.

CRD = Corporate R&D - Mostly CRL with a lot of R&D support services like lab safety and the like.

It looks like this one goes very fast by 3M standards. From what I'm hearing that US impacted employees will be told this week or next. Most international staff will get told later as there are a lot more laws protecting them.
