I am wonder when affected people will be notified, if they haven’t been already. What is the time line?
Also how were you notified? Email? Meeting? Snail mail?

If the TEBG lab is done, is there any word on how many people were let go?
A group of 90 people from TEBG Lab was just told a few minutes ago that TEBG Lab is done with notifications for layoffs.
EO says 2-6 weeks in US. Much longer globally.
TEBG done this week. They are moving faster than normal.
A good way to definitively know you’re being laid off is if you get an invite from your manager reschedule and they’ll be insistent they can’t (because it’s also based on HR’s availability) even if you’re both wide open on the calendars. Best story I heard was an unsuspecting employee tried to reschedule a 1:1 and manager was insistent they couldn’t so employee called in and this person they never saw before (it was HR) was on video before the manager. Awkward…
You’ll get a teams meeting invite from your manager with an Hr person on the call. They’ll let you know at that time along with going offer severance, and providing documentation for next steps regarding Insurance, 401K etc. They’ll also let you know of your official last day which is typically 45 days from notice.
220 building will be spared, other than the janitors.
