I no longer harbor any illusions that things will get better here. Nevertheless, I can't help but sometimes wonder about what could be done to at least slow down the decline of the company, that is, what would be the priorities to change?

Increase the dividend.
Have the chickens make decisions at the top level, at least their voices are being heard
Only the imbecile$ on here don’t “seem to care.” 19,990 give a cr-p, make a good living, let stuff roll off their back…and the 10 that post on here don’t. Simple as that.
The thing that needs changing is the way you work. This isn't the same company any longer, so stop working as if it was. If the entire company doesn't seem to care, you need to loosen up and enjoy going down in flames. Make the job fun again and stop stressing out.
The last CEO with a clue was DTK.
Right on to proposed changes …
- Increase the dividend.
- Get rid of unprofitable customers or accounts. We spend far too much time and resources keeping them running and happy.
- Get rid of unprofitable products/models. There are several products/models that are bleeding us dry in annuity costs (service and supplies).
- Bring the main customer interactions back onshore. Customers are fed up with dealing with call center agents they can't understand and/or hearing chickens in the background.
- Start compensating the Executive level on profitability. That alone would change a lot of the stupid decisions that are regularly being made.
There are more but these would be a good start.
