Per the WARN Act, employers with 50 or more employers are required to report large layoffs. Did MDT break Federal Law by not reporting this? Other companies reported layoffs from April to May in the March 2023 Report (see https://mn.gov/deed/programs-services/dislocated-worker/reports/). Seems a bit sketch how this company continues to handle these layoffs…

also important to remember that the notices are published every Tuesday and Thursday, so they should only be considered up to date as of the last update
Warn notice is about a
Month behind before we see it. My guess is the news media was tipped off when they filed this
Some of these started awhile ago; some are coming up on their 60 days in mid-May so might see it posted in 2/3 weeks
Since MDT is keeping the laid off people on payroll for 60 days, they don’t need to report the WARN notice until that time.
they laid off people but remember, they are still on payroll for 60 days aka warn isnt triggered yet
OP Here: correction - Per the WARN Act, employers with 50 or more employees are required to report large layoffs. Did MDT break Federal Law by not reporting this?
