Not to discount the employees who got screwed out of a minimal pennies on the dollar recovery for their lost stocks, but who in their right mind put their "life savings" on Avaya? Ya' better talk to your investment advisor

How come creditors get paid but loyal shareholders who invested their life savings get nothing, seems criminal 🤔

They filed "claims" that the court accepted. They will get paid as part of the restructuring. That is what this "restructuring" period is. If they don't pay, then they won't be approved to emerge from Chapter 11.
