Is everyone getting it the day before? Or is anyone getting it the day of? Anyone just been pulled into a meeting? It seems like most people are getting a business update meeting notice the afternoon before?

I got one and was rif yesterday. Supposed to be “24hrs” ahead so you can make it. Disorganized meeting with Hr and mgr. you have to wait for them to email you the info and will be shut out of your computer by 10pm.
A friend got his a couple hours before the meeting and VP, HR and direct manager were there. A 15min conversation making lame excuses and whatever to make everyone in the room feel better about themselves I guess and he was out. I'm so sorry for everyone affected by this, in most cases, it's definitely not you. (in every case I know of anyway). It's the total lack of understanding of your value to the company, idk if filling out your workday stuff would have even helped to be honest. I don't think they even looked at that. I keep hearing they basically looked at how your time was charged and what your title was and then made a decision based on that. If they couldn't find a place for you in the new structure, you're out. It will probably take them 6 months to figure out they actually needed you in some cases. Others, maybe sooner. I got mine at 5:30 pm and meeting was 2 pm the next day.
I got mine day of about 2 hours prior. HR was not listed on invite but they were online. Why he so sneaky? We knows what happening? Just seems so shady. The worst was the canned script from my boss. No personal touch nothing. After more than a decade of service- are you kidding me? And then the copy pasted email I got afterward that was a form letter sent to all people on team impacted. Despicable
I got mine the day of around 9am for a 1pm meeting
I got mine today at 4 pm to meet my director in person (like he is literally flyin into my STATE) tomorrow at 8:30 at a hotel conference room
My friend got the email the evening before. The email came around 6pm, for a 9AM "business update" meeting with the VP who was their direct leader. HR also attended the meeting but I'm not sure if they were included on the invite.
And who was in the meeting? Direct manager? VP? HR?
I got mine 30 min before the meeting.
